This has quickly become my favourite ban reason of all the cards we've talked about so far. On face value, you'd think it's purely based on the exorbitant cost to acquire a Library of Alexandria. It turns out that the real reason this card will probably be forever banned is a lot more subtle and I didn't see it coming at all. I could barely see why this card was a problem! Check out a rare episode where I am unable to come up with reasons why I think the card should stay banned.
Hell, I didn't even think this was that good of a card. Boy, was I wrong.

Flash - no, not the evergreen mechanic, the card. Its effect reads innocuous enough, right? Pay 2 mana, drop a creature into play, pay the difference in mana to keep the creature. If you watch this episode, you can watch me in real-time go from thinking this is totally chill to realising that the whole point of Flash is not to keep the creature around, and start to realise the types of problems that can cause.
You'll enjoy this one if you're like me and have only heard of a Flash Hulk combo before, but never actually read what Protean Hulk does.

We really enjoyed our first attempt at speedrunning building Commander decks the first time around on Deck%, so we're over the moon (SPACE PUN) that Wizards sent us packs to open for Edge of Eternities and enabled us to do it all over again for a new set!
Actually getting to our Commanders after opening the packs was a little harder this time, with the set having way less viable Commanders (i.e. legendary creatures and now spacecraft too) than Final Fantasy, but we did both end up with one. That's a good thing, because last time we both just flipped one card and found what we were working with, so we get to see more of the packs this way.
