We first met Violet back at PAX AUS 2025 when I interviewed the Good Games Morley team, so I was so stoked to finally get her on the show. She was an absolute sweetheart and we had so much fun recording this one, which I think really came through in the edit. I think it''s a good sign that I laughed as much as I did just editing it.

This was also our first attempt at remote recording a full episode of the show. We've done similar things for our livestream setups, but this was something else entirely. The recording situation used similar tech to our livestreams, with a couple of additions that were intended to enable a more flexible post-production, but we ended up with a whole heap of audio drift on each video track that had to be manually resynced. This was a GNARLY edit.

Anyway, we've got one more card on the banlist left to go, and for that one we've lined up a guest who is even further away from us geographically speaking. Don't worry, we've got plans to tighten the recording setup by then too. At least, I sure hope we can figure that out, for my sake.
